4 Weeks till the CUP

Golf courses finally opened this weekend in Eau Claire, so Ryder Cup training is officially underway.  Although, I have been mentally preparing since the day after the cup last year.

After a rough golf year last year, I made the decision to rebuild my golf swing.  Start from scratch.  It was a bold move, but bold moves are what breeds greatness.

Then the draft happened.

Captain Gabriel decided to look past last year, and grab myself in the 15th round.  Captian Lehmann then decided to fuel my training desire with the following post:

That post has been on my Bulletin Board ever since.

Things started poorly, when we were able to play a few rounds down in Atlanta.  It was a very discouraging start, but I stuck with the program, and continued to work with my swing coach.

After time on the range, and 54 holes this weekend, things are starting to come together:

(Thank you in advance Nowak, I know I am looking pretty cut)

I hate to drop that video on Team Lehmann.  I am sure as soon as Zach reads this, he will begin reshuffling his matchups.

The thing is, this is only the beginning.  Unlike you poor married souls, I literally have nothing else to do for the new 4 weeks.  Work, practice range, golf channel, redtube, and repeat.  I have dropped about 30 shots in 5 rounds.  At that rate, I should be able to drop another 60 by the cup.

  1. I thought I'd wait a few weeks of golf league to make sure Bryce hadn't magically stopped falling over everytime he swings his drive...so I waited and to my amzazement...Nothing has changed! I stand by my original statement and team gabriel will be paying for that one in a couple of weeks!
