Captain Zach and his White Claw Warriors descend to Spooner Golf Club to
try and stop Team Gabriel from a 3 peat.
Team Gabriel has fortified their position by dominating another draft. As assistant to the captain of Team Gabriel, I
can think of no one else to give an unbiased breakdown of this year’s match
ups.
The Match: Gauer/Korbel vs. Malloy/Hawkins
First match of the day
has some big firepower. The key will be
whether the Hawk is vaporizing the ball with his slapshot, or Korbels strong
wrists, from years of playing with his crank bait, will lead to some money
shots!

The Match: TSchmidt/Lee vs.
Bwandon/Jake
Nobody knows the grass
around Spooner like T Schmidt, giving Team Gabriel a BIG advantage in this
match. It will be a TALL task for BJ and
Jake to overcome these two. I think they
come up SHORT.

The Match: Davey/Scotty v vs.
Eddie/Buschy
Davey should show up
by the 6th hole this year so it will be interesting to see how Scotty
holds off Eddie and Buschy for the first few holes. Luckily Davey comes in with Fireball a
blazin, and will Kamikaze the Team Lehmann pair so they are cross-eyed for the
second round.

The Match: Blake/Burnham vs. Nate/Neil
Blake vs. Nate in the
first round part 10! Neil will look to Novocaine
Team Gabriel with some tight wedges, but the only real drama for this match-up is what hole Burnham takes his shirt off on.

The Match: BVB/Nick P vs. Adam B/Billy
Billy the 3-eyed raven
will take this rookie under his wing and show him the ways of the world and Windsormaker. 2 bannerman
of the Blue Guard will look to Par (ok bogey) the Lehmann pair to death.

The Match: Vance/Mivey vs. Hanson/Jesse
Interesting match up here, but we all know Miveys putting
stroke breaks hearts… especially those of the SGC cart girls.

The Match: Scoops/Lunde vs. Benny/Vern
Who will spend more money getting ready for the
Windsormaker... Lunde on his fresh outfit, or Scoops on his tour exclusive Range Finder/Club
Cleaner/Gold Bond Dispenser? What’s that
you haven’t even heard of that? That’s because
you can’t afford it! Benny has been frozen out of winning his first round matchups, but Vern has strong shoulders
to carry him around the course.

The Match: Schooooonover/Stahl vs. Dirty/Felmlee
Neenah vs. Eau Claire showdown. I see this as a close match but Clutch Craig can
only carry Dirty for so long, before he double doinks one onto the highway on 17.

The Match: Brent P/Schilling vs. Big E/Butt Love
Tons of Windsormaker experience on Team Lehmann’s side. Stopped picking against Big E in the first round
awhile ago. The second round though is another story.

The Match: Cuskey/Heim vs. Zach L/Jivey Brent
Tough break for Team Lehmann as Jordon the Broken will be
taking on a mentor role. I know
one pair who hopefully has good some life insurance (Scoops maybe you can help
them out) in place, when they go through the Cuskey/Heim BuzzSaw!

Well there you have it folks. Looks like an early lead for Team Gabriel,
but as they always say the Windsormaker doesn’t start until the back 9 on
Saturday afternoon.
